Forward

Allah bless and give peace to our master Muhammad, his family and companions without exception. May He, subhanahu wa ta’ala, be pleased with all those who came after them, loving their predecessors and striving their utmost to emulate their example, until this time and beyond until the end of time. Count us among them, You who has the power to give us the heart and actions commensurate with that blessing.

We ask for long life, good health and abundance in all good things and states for our master and teacher, Shaykh Dr. Abdalqadir as-Sufi, may his niyyah be fulfilled, and upon his predecessors the  two shaykhs, Muhammad ibn al-Habib al-Hasani al-Amghari and Muhammad al-Faytouri Hamouda and all the shuyukh of our Qadiri, Shadhili, Darqawi tariqah with light and expansion in their tombs until the Day of Rising, and upon the shuyukh that have come from him, his amirs and each and everyone of his fuqara, including those who have already left this world, who have taken on the teachings that have come to them and make their efforts spread like ripples among the people through time and space.

I begin this in the name of Allah, Merciful and Majestic. May he protect every letter and space from His displeasure and make it a means to His forgiveness and acceptance.

This submission is in response to  requests from the fuqara, so I hope it will be of use.

    1. Thank you, Mansour Malik, wa alaykum assalam.

I am in a different city to our Shaykh, but I am sure he is aware of your kindness and solicitousness. It must be very difficult in Dubai which seems to be a centre of all that is wrong with our Ummah. It always reminds me of Abraha and his palace which he built in opposition to Allah’s house and thought better than it. It is understandable when amid the Arabs of today to feel so badly about things as they are truely in a mess. May Allah guide them back the blessed behaviour of the first generations of that blessed city Madinah al-Munawwarah.

  2. Assalamu alaykum

    Dear Hajj Issa,

I’m writing my history dissertation on embracing Islam in the 1970s. I’ve already talked to 6-7 people on their then journey to Islam etc. Would you be able to email me so that I can better explain my project?

    Many thanks,
